Forever In Time Keepsakes

 

 

Have you had an occasion that you received flowers, (wedding, anniversary, birth of a child, or even a death), and stated, I wish they’d last “Forever”? Well, that’s how“Forever In Time” began. This is actually so much more than just flowers preserved, it is memories and keepsakes to treasure, everyday, “Forever”.

I had two very important occasions. The first was my 25th wedding anniversary, I received a dozen fire and ice roses. I don’t have my bridal bouquet anymore, but I sure wanted to be able to enjoy this bouquet for years to come. (photo below). Then came the second event, the death of my Dad. Again, I needed to have a special remembrance of him, to have“Forever In Time”.

After my anniversary I started working on preserving my flowers. I’ve worked with floral for over 20 years, and knew there had to be a way to “preserve” them other than drying them. I was working on this when my Dad became ill and passed away. That made me want this even more. I knew for how important it was to me and my family, to be able to have this cherished keepsake, I wanted to be able to offer it to other people too. It is me doing the floral and putting the boxes together, and my husband building the shadowboxes for me.

For real flowers, I do a chemical process that extracts the moisture, maintains their shape and seals the flower to protect its beauty, “Forever”. It requires time, patience and precision to detail. They become very fragile, but are preserved for you to enjoy, everyday….“Forever In Time”.
